OCSD Leadership: Art Director The Art Director's responsibility focuses on raising awareness and advocacy and managing programs that uplift visuals for OCSD by creating content related to events, materials, and online in various formats, ensuring the design is engaging, accessible, and aligned with OCSD's vision and goal to promote Deaf culture and sign language. This role is vital because it uplifts visual storytelling for different OCSD projects, keeping the community informed. The director also collaborates with national organizations on various programs, including the Deaf Arts Institute's vision, merging creativity with advocacy to support the Deaf community's voice of expression. The director also advocates for theatres and their performances, ensuring interpretation is provided as it's vital to uplift and recognize Deaf talent and art, allowing them to showcase in the community.
