We are a pure volunteer-run organization with little operation expense. Your support enables our community-based programs to grow by engaging and educating people and businesses, which breaks down the communication and language barriers we face every day. Giving via the button below means your financial donation goes directly to the Ontario Cultural Society of the Deaf’s programs and therefore the community; not salaries or operating expenses.

Join Our Board

Our Board of Directors is made up of an executive team and a group of program directors. The Ontario Cultural Society does not offer paid positions at this time. We are a group of dedicated Deaf and hearing individuals who are motivated to bring about positive, informative, and healthy change in the world. We care deeply for Deaf culture, preserving our sign language, and lifting up Deaf individuals both personally and professionally. You are eligible to apply if you share these values and are fluent in American Sign Language. Share Your Time

Volunteers like you who are generous with their time, resources, and experiences make a direct and tangible impact on the success of the Ontario Cultural Society of the Deaf. We are a volunteer-run charity and our team believes deeply in improving the lives of individuals and families, promoting Deaf community-driven events, and spreading awareness about accommodation. We welcome all kinds of volunteers (knowledge of American Sign Language not required!) and there are countless opportunities depending on your availability.
