OCSD Leadership: ASL Teachers of Ontario Director The ASLTO Director’s responsibility focuses on ASL teachers across Ontario. This includes creating opportunities for ASL teaching, learning, training, support, and networking to promote language access and inclusion. This role ensures that ASL teachers have the resources, guidance, and support to provide high-quality education for Deaf and hearing students. The director also collaborates with national organizations to ensure ASL teachers have the knowledge, skills, and experience required to meet the standards set by the Ontario College of Teachers. This promotes the quality and professionalism of ASL instruction across Ontario.
