Signing Naturally Units 7–12: Preparing to Teach Intermediate ASL in Community Settings

This course is designed for individuals who want to study the Signing Naturally Units 7–12 curriculum in depth, with the goal of teaching intermediate American Sign Language (ASL) in community-based environments. Building on foundational skills, this level focuses on expanding vocabulary, enhancing grammar, and developing storytelling techniques. Whether you're facilitating workshops, mentoring learners, or supporting inclusive initiatives, you'll gain the tools to guide students toward greater fluency and cultural understanding.

The course includes 8 sessions, held over four weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST:

  • November 25 & 27

  • December 2 & 4

  • December 9 & 11

  • December 16 & 18
